Western Carolina Pacesetters was founded in 1994 as a youth service agency serving students in the five Western counties of North Carolina (Cherokee, Clay, Macon, Graham, and Swain)
Today Pacesetters offers students high adventure activities and environmental educational programs at their 50 acre adventure center located in the Marble, NC
area.
The Pacesetters Adventure center boasts:
60 foot high Alpine Tower II-
Giant Swing-
Seven Element Team Development Course-
Softball Field-
Volleyball and Basketball Courts-
2500 sq. ft. Putting Green and Driving Range-
Numerous Fishing Spots on the Valley River-
Nature Trail with over 100 identified plants and trees-
Stream Walking on Valley River, host to 2 state recognized endangered fish species
Mission Statement:
To continually work to develop, improve, and expand the positive experiential learning opportunities we provide for the youth of western North Carolina.
We are committed to offering the one on one advocacy and sense of personal connection for young people that fosters individual growth and increases the probability of their future success.
Western Carolina Pacesetters, through our committed Board of Directors, staff, and volunteers, will strive to build on our past success and always have our eyes on new and exciting ways to reach out a hand to uplift
